Tilling & Painting

Tilling and painting may refer to a painting technique, a type of agriculture, or a series of scroll paintings:
  • Tiling as a painting technique
Involves fitting tiles of any shape or size together to fill a flat space, like a grid, on walls, floors, or ceilings. The word comes from the art of mosaics, which use shards of glass, ceramic, and other materials to create images. Tiling can be used in Hollywood and other entertainment to preserve a painting's edge, which can be lost if the paint is blended too much. Tiling can also be used in digital painting to create textures, such as adding grit to a brush with a photographic tile.
